How do you get to Murrayfield from Lanarkshire for a stadium show?
The three options are train, car or coach. The train from Lanarkshire means at least one change, a walk or tram at the Edinburgh end, and the last trains west leave before a stadium encore finishes. Driving means the M8 both ways and Edinburgh event parking. The coach is £31.50 return: picked up in your town, dropped near the stadium, and it waits after the show, so the journey home starts when the show ends, not when a timetable says so.
The last-train problem
Stadium shows at Murrayfield regularly run past 10.30pm. By the time you are out of the crowd and across to Haymarket, the last direct trains west are gone or rammed. Plenty of people have paid for a gig and spent the last hour of it watching the clock.
The coach removes the clock. It leaves when everyone is on, every time.
