Can you carry a wheelchair on a White Bus coach?
It depends entirely on which vehicle is on your run, so phone the office on 01698 537555 and ask before you book. The fleet runs from a 4-seat executive car up to a 34-seat coach and they are not all the same inside. On a private hire we know the vehicle when we quote you, so we can answer straight away. On a day trip or a gig coach the vehicle is assigned nearer the date, so ask us and we will check the specific run rather than give you a general answer that might not hold on the morning.
What to tell us when you ring
The date and the run you are looking at, the type of chair (manual or powered), and whether the passenger transfers to a seat or travels in the chair. That is enough for us to tell you what is possible on that particular vehicle, and to plan the extra time into the pickup if it is.
Why we will not answer this on a form
Because the wrong answer means somebody at a kerb at seven in the morning in front of a coach that cannot take them. A phone call takes a minute and it is the only way to be certain about the vehicle on your date.
